Sonogram Neural Network Detection

It seems I’ve gained a great interest in working with medical imaging. After scraping through a few hundred sonogram datasets, I trained a simple convolutional neural network to classify them. The results weren’t perfect, but they outperformed the baseline human accuracy under time pressure. It’s nowhere near clinical level yet, but promising. There’s a weird thrill in watching a machine begin to “see” the world as we do.
